TSP-Geo : The surveillance of high-risk locations with autonomous beacon

Also in the context of precision-sensitive applications, TracEdge is involved in the surveillance of high-risk locations. TracEdge is capable of collecting GPS data in order to be used by expert geometricians for the surveillance of the evolution of risky mountain locations. The positioning precision required is of a few millimeters in X, Y and Z. TracEdge has designed an autonomous unit, the TSP-Geo, powered by a solar panel, which can collect GPS signals and transmit them via radio link to a PC server where they are analyzed. This solution that uses raw data ideally complements the current implementations with theodolites or radars; in particular it guarantees continuous operation independently of day/night or meteorological conditions.
